Bonn Conference for Global Transformation 2015: register now!
If we are to preserve our planet, then we need to change something - we need to change ourselves, and radically. This is a conviction shared by a great number of people as they witness climate change and increasing pollution and poverty. And many of them not only have ideas on how to go about tackling these issues but have also gained experience in implementing their solutions. They are now keen to share this experience with others.
The Bonn Conference for Global Transformation, which will be held from 12 to 13 May 2015 in Bonn, Germany, is the first in a new series of conferences to support the process behind the United Nations post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals, bridging the gap between theory and practice and between policy-making and implementation.
Entitled ‘From Politics to Implementation’, it will provide an opportunity for people from all over the world to discuss strategies and solutions and to form new networks and alliances. Representatives from the fields of business, research and academia, civil society and policy-making will share their experiences with one another and join forces to tackle the great challenges of our time. Together, they will develop ideas for shaping a sustainable future, taking away suggestions and inspiration for their own work at the same time. This global transformation will only succeed if we all pull in the same direction and share our knowledge.
